The best way to get to the Copper Canyon is to take the renowned Chihuahua al Pacifico railroad, which runs from the Topolobampo seaport up to Chihuahua City. The entire track traverses 390 miles, with a climb up to 7,000 feet above sea level. The track affords great views of the canyon.

The temperature varies depending on where you are at the canyon. As the rim of the canyon is about a mile higher than the canyon's floor, it's cooler at the rim during the summers and warmer in the floor during winters. The best months to visit the Copper Canyon are from March to April and October to December.
